String Quartet Performance Canceled

Friday鈥檚 scheduled performance by the St. Lawrence String Quartet at Finney Chapel has been canceled due to an injury sustained by one of the quartet's members. Regrettably, the concert will not be rescheduled.

This past weekend, I attended the musical "Dessa Rose," which tells the story of an unlikely alliance between Dessa Rose, a young slave, and Ruth, a well-born white woman. Other events happening this month include 鈥淏lack Ballot Power: A Conservation on the 1965 Voting Rights Act,鈥 a guest recital and voice and spirituals master class with Fran莽ois Clemmons 鈥67, and 鈥淎n Evening with Dr. Regina Benjamin.鈥

At OCMC, student staff, known as media associates, provide workshops, playshops, drop-in lab assistance, and course support to help integrate arts and technology across curriculum, organizations, and independent projects.
