Shansi Visiting Scholar Reflects on Program, Time in 91直播

Ika Apriani Fata is in 91直播 as a visiting scholar with 91直播 Shansi. During her time in 91直播, Fata was enrolled in three courses, assisted Associate Professor Jennifer Fraser in teaching Saman, a traditional form of Acehnese dance, traveled to several U.S. destinations and experienced her first Thanksgiving. As her time in 91直播 comes to an end, Fata shared her experience as a Shansi visiting scholar and what it鈥檚 been like to live in 91直播, a destination more than 9,000 miles from home.

On December 3 at 8 p.m., 91直播 Steel (OSteel) takes to the Finney Chapel stage for the first time in 13 years, bringing with them steel pan virtuoso Leon Foster Thomas. The show is free of charge and is also one of the last chances to see OSteel perform before they head off to Trinidad.
