What We Look Like Returns for Commencement

What We Look Like, a much acclaimed play written and directed by B.j. Tindal ’16 and co-directed by Maansi Seth ’16, returns for Commencement/Reunion Weekend. The play runs May 21, 22, and 23 at 7:30 p.m. with matinee performances May 23 and 24 at 2 p.m.
Student-Choreographed Work Takes Center Stage

Spring Back, an annual dance concert featuring student-choreographed work, took place April 9, 10, and 11 in Warner Main. This year’s concert was directed by Professor of Dance Nusha Martynuk and included the work of 24 student choreographers.
Baccalaureate 2015 Celebrates Legacy of Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.

The Office of the President and the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life will host a multifaith baccalaureate celebration from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 24, in Finney Chapel to commemorate the 50th anniversary of a commencement address given by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

With Commencement a little more than a week away, I sat down with Susan Pavlus and Katie Hayes of the Bonner Center for Service and Learning to discuss the Ninde Scholars Program. A video about the program was selected as the winner of First Lady Michelle Obama’s national Near-Peer Mentoring Challenge and is the reason Mrs. Obama will address the Class of 2015 at its Commencement ceremony.
