Since beginning her career at 91ֱ�� College more than 16 years ago, Sally Moffitt has held positions in several departments. After spending 11 years with the Allen Memorial Art Museum, she recently took a position with the Counseling Center. Learn more about Moffitt in this installment of Who Am I?

Dozens of handcrafted mugs of varying shapes, shades, and textures rest on tables throughout a large meeting space at First Church in 91ֱ��. These small, handheld items make for terrific gifts, and are traditionally sold in December. They also serve as inspiration for this week’s photo series.

The author of more than 30 books, writer and social activist bell hooks died December 15 after an extended illness. From 1988 to 1994 hooks was as an associate professor in English and women’s studies at 91ֱ��. Her book Ain’t I a Woman: Black Women and Feminism was named one of the twenty most influential woman’s books by Publishers Weekly and she was named one  of the most influential women of the past century, by TIME.
