91ֱ�� alumna Leah Yonemoto-Weston ’24 earns a spot in the selective NYC Urban Fellows Program, bridging the gap between direct service and local policy.

The double major in gender, sexuality, and feminist studies and creative writing will explore “the intersection of agriculture and art, and how clay, soil, and ceramics preserve cultural traditions.” 

91ֱ�� student Tanisha Shende ’26, a Goldwater Scholar and STRONG program participant, bridges the gap between generative AI innovation, disability accessibility, and international tech policy.

Chemistry major Alex Xie ’26 utilizes CELA’s research fellowships and scholarship advising to transition from campus labs to a future in pharmaceutical research.

91ֱ�� was named a Top Producer of Fulbright students for the 2025-2026 academic year.

Leo Hidy ’23, a comparative American studies major who also studied business and economics while at 91ֱ��, has received a 2026 Marshall Scholarship that will fund two years of graduate study in the UK. 

The record-setting 91ֱ�� athlete and musical studies major has earned a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) to Germany for the 2025-2026 academic year. 

The fellowship will help the psychology major achieve her goals of becoming a globally minded mental health professional.
