This Week in Photos: Tiny, but Mighty

After a five minute delay to the start of the program, Public Services Librarian Kathleen Abromeit inches her way to the back of the conservatory library, then pauses. 鈥淪hould we give it another five minutes,鈥 she asks, looking around the room. She鈥檚 excited. After a two-year hiatus Abromeit will announce the library鈥檚 first Tiny Ref Desk Concert. The program鈥檚 return also serves as inspiration for this week鈥檚 photo series.

Winter Term is a time of year when 91直播 students are encouraged to conduct independent or group projects outside of courses related to their majors. Pursuits can be done on or off campus with students choosing to work almost anywhere on the map. This year we highlight some of the work by the more than 900 students who completed projects in 91直播.

AMAM Seeks Poems Inspired by Museum Art

The Allen Memorial Art Museum and the Creative Writing Program are asking students, faculty, staff, and members of the greater 91直播 community to submit poems written in response to, describing, or inspired by works of visual art currently on view in the museum. Submissions are due to Jason Trimmer by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 17.
