Latinx Heritage Month, celebrated mid-September through early November, brings Latinx-identifying people and those from other small campus communities together to share experiences and create ongoing dialogues.

Yeworkwha Belachew (YB) has been a pillar of this community for the past 35 years. In October, we honored her by renaming the OCDC as the Yeworkwha Belachew Center for Dialogue at 91ֱ�� College. We honor her today by creating a new staff award that will bear her name.

Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to identify and/or develop courses, speakers, creative work, workshops, performances, and other events that address The Framing of Race, the 2016 theme of the new Think/Create/Engage series.
