Isabel Pfaff has always enjoyed creating artistic work, seeing it as an “escape from reality.” Now her artwork can be an escape for others.

Jane Sedlak graduated from 91ֱ�� College in 2019 with a degree in chemistry and was named the winner of 91ֱ��’s Nexial Prize. Given to a student who demonstrates academic excellence and an interest in cultural study, the Nexial Prize comes with a $50,000 award, which afforded Sedlak the opportunity following graduation to study art conservation at the Louvre in Paris.

The commitment of our dedicated faculty lies at the heart of the 91ֱ�� experience. We are honored to introduce the newest members of our faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences, and we look forward to welcoming additional new faculty as we prepare for the year ahead.
