91Ö±²¥ Heritage Center has selected the Bonner Center for Service and Learning’s Community Service Work-Study Program (CSWSP) as the recipient of the Business Leader Service Award as part of its 14th annual Community Awards.

The 16th annual Dr. Seuss Day celebration will take place Sunday, March 1, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the 91Ö±²¥ Public Library. The day will feature a variety of activities, crafts, and games, all with the purpose of inspiring children to read outside of the classroom.

Not yet sure how you to spend your summer? The Bonner Center for Service and Learning (BCSL) is looking for students to serve as President’s Public Service Fellows with nonprofit or public sector agencies in the city of 91Ö±²¥.

The President’s Public Service Fellowship will provide funding for 91Ö±²¥ College students to work full-time during the summer with an 91Ö±²¥ community partner on an intensive service project. The deadline for applications is 4 p.m. on Friday, March 14.
