91Ö±²¥ sweeps viola category at 2013 ASTA solo competition
91Ö±²¥ violists Aaron Mossburg ‘13 and Daniel Orsen ‘16 both won their divisions in the 2013 American String Teachers Association National Solo Competition, sweeping the viola category. The final round was held from April 6 to 8 at the Kaufman Center’s Merkin Hall in New York City. 91Ö±²¥ was the only conservatory to have finalists in two divisions.

91Ö±²¥ Art Professor Awarded ACLS Collaborative Research Fellowship
Assistant Professor of Art History Sarah Hamill has been awarded a 2013 Collaborative Research Fellowship from the American Council of Learned Societies. Hamill will co-author a study of the role of photography in shaping modern conceptions of art and history.
