91Ö±²¥

All students who receive need-based financial aid at 91Ö±²¥ College must complete a process called verification. This process is necessary to help the Office of Financial Aid comply with both institutional and federal financial aid policies.

Dependent studentsÌýwill be asked to submit the following materials to the Office of Financial Aid to complete the verification process:

1. a Dependent Student Verification Worksheet ,
2. a signed copy of your custodial parent(s)’ federal tax return,
3. a signed copy of your own federal tax return (if not filing, complete Section C of the 91Ö±²¥ Dependent Verification Form to provide the information needed to waive this requirement)
4. any other forms deemed necessary.

Independent studentsÌýwill be asked to submit the following materials to the Office of Financial Aid to complete the verification process:

1. an Independent Student Verification Worksheet (please contact our office to obtain an Independent Verification form and verify if you qualify as an Independent Student. 440-775-8142Ìý orÌýfinancial.aid@oberlin.eduÌý)
2. a signed copy of your own federal tax returnÌý(if not filing, complete the non-filer statement)
3. a signed copy of your spouse’s federal tax returnÌý(if not filing, complete the non-filer statement)
4. any other forms deemed necessary.
