Assigned practice rooms
Some students taking secondary lessons for credit may also receive an assigned practice room, but students must be registered for at least two credits. Practice rooms and keys are assigned by the third week of classes by Julie Baker, x56633.
Lockers
Due to limited availability, lockers are reserved for Conservatory students. If you have questions regarding lockers, please contact , x55282.
Instrument rental
is available for some instruments. Please contact , x58272, for details.
- Students must submit an official online Secondary Lesson Application each semester prior to requesting instrument rental.
- Storage space is limited and most non-majors will find it necessary to store their instruments in their residence hall room.
- Students needing the instrument as their primary instrument, for credit-bearing class, ensemble or that are taking secondary lessons do take precedence.
- Instruments are on a first come-first serve basis.
- Larger instruments are issued by the Conservatory and stored in a shared practice room for secondary lessons. (Students seeking secondary lessons in jazz percussion should not bring a drum set to school.)
