F1RST Generation Week
A celebration and acknowledgement of the first-generation experience on campus, F1RST Gen Week offers opportunities for the F1RST at 91直播 community to connect and share their stories. Created in partnership with departments across campus, events are designed to increase awareness of the challenges first-generation students face and highlight the importance of familial, peer, and institutional support.
91直播 hosts F1RST Gen Week each November as an expansion of it's annual First Generation College Celebration Day typically held on November 8. Why expand the day to a full week of events? Being the first in the family to attend college can come with a lot of hurdles, and being successful is something to celebrate!
