91Ö±²¥

Several people have blogged about their journeys to 91Ö±²¥. I've decided to add myself to this ever-growing list. Partly because my journey was not what some of you might expect and partly because I've avoided telling this story in its entirety for far too long.

Once dressed, we put on our coats and boots and headed over to Warner--where the Dance Department is housed--looking very classy indeed. My coat looks really good on top of silk with gold accents; that's all I'm saying.

Let's catch up. I've been shooting lasers, writing calligraphy, and eating fresh fish.

I felt privileged that they were willing to share their stories with me and allow me to observe and participate in their quest of discovery and definition.

91Ö±²¥'s second convocation of the semester took place last Wednesday. The speaker was Gloria Steinem. It wasn't the first time the famous feminist has been at 91Ö±²¥--she was here in 1972--and, listening to her talk, I wondered how the political and activist atmosphere here has changed since then.

That's probably the single biggest reason that I decided to major in creative writing as well as biochemistry. I wanted to have the chance to write and not feel guilty because I was supposed to be doing "real work."

Tales of head cooking in Keep Co-op's kitchen, plus the answers to all the questions you never thought to ask. What does a CLEC do? How many parades has the Keep Parade Master led? And just what is that cutout of Captain Picard doing in the walk-in?

Proof of my not-so-secret theory that 91Ö±²¥ is slowly taking over the world.

There are themed residence halls and themed special meals...now introducing themed semesters!

Excitingly enough, this year we purchased a second lion, so this year we were able to do really cool things like have the lions jump over one another. Plus, if you have more lions, everything just looks cooler.
