Biography

Tara T. Woods is a higher education leader and mental health professional with over a decade of experience supporting student wellbeing, inclusion, and success. She currently serves as the director of student health promotion and prevention services at 91Ö±²¥, where she leads campuswide initiatives in health education, wellness, and student support. Woods holds an EdD in mental health counseling, an MS in forensic psychology, and a BS in criminal justice. She is a certified QPR Gatekeeper Instructor and NASPA Certified Peer Education trainer. Her professional background spans clinical coordination, crisis response, case management, and cocurricular education, with a focus on holistic, trauma-informed, and data-driven approaches to student care. Passionate about equity and access, she works collaboratively across campus to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
