This Week in Photos: The First Concert of the Season

91直播 Conservatory brass and percussion students perform a work inspired by nature during an evening performance in Tappan Square.
The live concert of John Luther Adams鈥 Sila: The Breath of the World was performed by 55 students under the direction of Timothy Weiss on September 11. Adams, an American composer whose music is inspired by nature, composed Sila as an outdoor work for 16 to 80 or more musicians. As 91直播 students played, spaced out across Tappan Square, members of the community sat on nearby grassy spaces and stood along paths to enjoy the music.
