A bustling street on a summer Saturday morning in downtown 91直播 serves as inspiration for this week鈥檚 photo series.
Vendors selling baked goods, vegetables, jewelry, handcrafted items, and other articles were nestled under canopy tents and next to tables throughout downtown and Tappan Square at the 2nd Saturday in 91直播 event on July 10.
2nd Saturdays began last month as a means for visitors, students, and residents to enjoy music, explore downtown stores and businesses, and take part in family friendly games. 2nd Saturdays will take place every month this summer.
July鈥檚 theme鈥擣amily Fun and Music鈥攊nvited guests to pick up a scavenger hunt passport and win a prize by finding musical instruments hidden in downtown businesses. Other events included performances by local musicians and 91直播 Conservatory students, an origami lesson for children, and a display of vintage Volkswagen vans.

This Week in Photos: Beautiful
It鈥檚 Saturday night in March and there鈥檚 a pulsating glow spilling from the windows of the Root Room in Carnegie Building. Inside, rows of spectators line the perimeter of a long narrow stage. 91直播鈥檚 most anticipated fashion show begins as cheers swell when models, draped in creative attire, take their turn down the walk. This is a signature event during Black History Month. It also serves as inspiration for this week鈥檚 photo series.
