I am a “LODO” (lights on, doors open) librarian.

Who’s your favorite musical artist or group?

Earth, Wind & Fire. Their music is timeless, joyful, and uplifting.

What's a word or expression that makes you laugh?

"Homey don't play that," which is credited to the character Homey D. Clown from the TV show In Living Color. It’s an expression I've used on many occasions, and it works well in any scenario. Try it.

Where did you grow up?

Greenfield, Ohio

What's one thing about you that might surprise us? 

I love monkeys and lived in St. Kitts with my 11-year-old black dog named Mamba, who is an Affenpinscher. (In German, the name means “monkey-like terrier.”)

What’s your favorite item of clothing?

I have several—hats, scarfs, and sweaters that were made with love by my sister, Stephanie.
