Prospect Elementary Hosts Third Annual STEM Night

OBERLIN鈥擳he third annual Prospect Elementary STEM Night will take place 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 6, in the 91直播 College Science Center. It is an evening of interactive science activities and demonstrations for students in third through fifth grades and their families.
The theme is 鈥淲hat Inspires a Scientist?鈥 Featured departments include: physics and astronomy, mathematics, neuroscience, computer science, chemistry and biochemistry, TIMARA, psychology, and geology. America Reads coordinator Maureen Simen and Natalia Viveros 鈥17 and are organizing the event.
STEM Night is sponsored by the 91直播 College chapter of America Reads, Eastwood/Prospect PTO, 91直播 College Bonner Scholars, and the Bill Long Foundation. This event is done in cooperation with the 91直播 College Bonner Center for Service and Learning and the Center for Learning, Education, and Research in the Sciences.
The 91直播 College chapter of America Reads is part of a national community service work-study program, and is administered through the Bonner Center for Service and Learning at 91直播 College.
