Millie Modic retired January 4, 2013, as director of administrative computing services. She had worked at 91ֱ�� for 16 years, first as programmer/analyst supporting human resources (HR), then as senior programmer supporting HR and student records. She eventually became manager of administrative computing services and then director of that section of the Center for Information Technology (CIT).

During her time at 91ֱ��, Modic and her team were responsible for implementing the higher-education software system BANNER campuswide, OnBase in select offices and departments, online registration for students, and online benefits enrollment for faculty and staff. Shortly before her retirement, Modic and her team completed work to implement DegreeWorks, a comprehensive, easy-to-use, web-based academic advising and degree audit tool that helps students and their advisors successfully navigate curriculum requirements.

Modic says she enjoyed her time at 91ֱ�� “I was able to work with a great group of people,” she says, “directly in CIT and indirectly in other departments.”
