Now in its third decade, the International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) is a multidisciplinary collective of musicians, digital media artists, producers, and educators, including numerous 91直播 alumni. On campus for a series of series of master classes, open rehearsals, and presentations, Ensemble musicians will share with 91直播 students their commitment to building and innovating collaborative environments. Their residency will culminate in a performance in 91直播鈥檚 Warner Concert hall, which includes works by 91直播 alumni. Conservatory students and faculty will perform alongside ICE musicians during the concert.
The Ensemble creates a mosaic musical ecosystem as 鈥淎merica鈥檚 foremost new-music group鈥 (The New Yorker), honoring the diversity of human experience and expression by commissioning, developing, recording, and performing the works of living artists in 鈥渁 mission worth following鈥 (I Care If You Listen).
