The supportive and engaging teaching style of my Chinese professors, combined with their encouragement to participate in cultural events like the Lunar New Year celebration, deepened my appreciation for the language and helped me build meaningful relationships with my classmates and the faculty.

Weekly Chinese table meetings gave me the chance to challenge myself by using Mandarin in real-life settings and underscored the importance of cultural exchange. These experiences and the rigorous curriculum that is taught helped me see how language is deeply intertwined with history, identity, food, and everyday life. They ultimately solidified my desire not just to study Chinese in the classroom, but to fully engage with the culture, community, and people.

Pursuing a Fulbright feels like a natural extension of the intercultural values I developed at 91直播. It represents a continuation of the language and cultural journey I began on campus—one rooted in mutual understanding, curiosity, and respect.

How does pursuing the Fulbright align with your career goals?
Pursuing a Fulbright will allow me to make a meaningful impact while immersing myself in a new culture and community. Although teaching abroad isn't directly tied to my future career as a therapist, it will equip me with essential, transferable skills—such as effective communication, cultural sensitivity, adaptability, and empathy—that are foundational to therapeutic work.

Building cross-cultural relationships and navigating unfamiliar environments will also challenge me to broaden my perspective and deepen my understanding of how people experience the world. These insights will strengthen my ability to connect with diverse clients and approach mental health from a more inclusive, culturally informed lens. It will also give me experience working directly with people and being able to serve the community.

What are you looking forward to the most with the Fulbright?
I’m looking forward to getting to know the people of Yilan and immersing myself in Taiwanese culture. One aspect I’m particularly excited about is the food: Taiwan is known for its incredibly delicious and affordable cuisine. I can’t wait to try local specialties like Yilan’s spring onion pancakes (葱油饼) and the iconic Taiwanese beef noodle soup (牛肉麵). As someone who genuinely loves exploring cultures through food, I see this as a fun and meaningful way to connect with the community.

What’s the best advice you’ve received from your 91直播 faculty mentor?
My mentor was Professor of Psychology and Environmental Studies Cindy Frantz. She has been, and continues to be, an incredible source of guidance and support.

One of the most meaningful pieces of advice she gave me was that it's okay to feel lost and not have everything figured out. She encouraged me to stay open-minded and explore opportunities—even those that don’t seem directly aligned with my professional goals—as each experience, no matter how small, can shape your path in unforeseen ways. Sometimes the path you never intended on taking is the one that might shape you the most.

Cindy also reminded me that growth isn’t always linear, and that everyone moves through life at their own pace. That perspective has stayed with me and continues to ground me, especially during times of uncertainty.

I never initially saw a Fulbright as part of my career path, but now I believe it will be one of the most rewarding and transformative experiences of my life.

If you’re a rising or graduating senior interested in Fulbright, connect with Fellowships & Awards to learn more about pursuing research or an arts project, obtaining a graduate degree, or teaching English in a foreign country of your choice following graduation.

The fellowship will help the psychology major achieve her goals of becoming a globally minded mental health professional.

News Story

Tue, 11/18/2025 - 12:00

Communications Staff

Alana Metcalf ’22 has earned a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) to Yilan, Taiwan, for the 2025-2026 academic year. It gives our students new ways to signal the depth of their scientific training. For example, in all of the eligible majors, undergraduates routinely co-author with their faculty mentors in scholarly peer-reviewed scientific journals.”

Kamitsuka noted that several programs outside traditional STEM areas—such as economics, business, and psychology—also qualify for the BS. “That reflects how today’s problems are solved,” he says. “Understanding markets, managing complex organizations, and studying human behavior all require the same analytical and evidence-based thinking we teach in the natural sciences. The BS degree captures that spirit of interdisciplinary inquiry grounded in the liberal arts tradition that is at the heart of an 91直播 education.

The new degree will also broaden 91直播’s appeal to prospective students. This includes greater awareness of (and sense of connection with) the local community and ecology; increased electricity conservation; and increased perception of youth engagement. “There are advertisements all over the place, and a lot of people believe they’re not influenced by them,” Frantz says. “But research shows you can be persuaded even if you’re not consciously paying attention.”

The professors first zeroed in on the online opportunities for digital research and social connections. The problem, Petersen and Frantz explained, is that people tend to occupy online communities that reinforce their preexisting beliefs. Unless people purposefully seek them out, pro-environmental messages can get lost in virtual echo chambers.

Around 70 percent of U.S. residents report they believe in climate change. But people also greatly underestimate the beliefs of others. For example, Petersen notes that people who care about climate change but believe other people don’t are less likely to take action to address the problem.

Frantz and Petersen theorized that public digital advertising, which is encountered by happenstance, can circumvent online habits. With funding from sources like the Environmental Protection Agency’s People, Prosperity and the Planet program and the Great Lakes Protection Fund, Petersen developed the Environmental Dashboard, a system of digital signs across the city of 91直播. The signs display community events, environmental conditions, and consumption of electricity and water.

The Environmental Dashboard also highlights Community Voices (CV), a series featuring images of community members with quotes about their positive activities in 91直播. A previous Frantz and Petersen study in the journal PLOS One demonstrated that people shown CV content in a controlled setting felt more environmental concern.

Testing the messages in the real world on the Environmental Dashboard was the next step. To populate the CV images, 91直播 students collected positive thoughts and actions related to the environment and the community from local residents. The project intentionally developed more content representing the perspectives of Black residents to negate a false perception that white Americans are more concerned about the environment than Black Americans. The team then worked with community members to place the signage in high-traffic public areas where people from diverse social, economic, and racial backgrounds would encounter them.

Student research assistants working with Frantz and Petersen surveyed 174 community members at six Environmental Dashboard sites before the signs were installed and 133 people two years after the screens were placed. They asked questions about community and environmental norms they predicted would be most affected by Environmental Dashboard content.

“We found that when the environmental actions of community members are made visible, it really does shift social norms,” Frantz said. “If you see people you identify with making statements about what they’re doing or what’s important to them, it makes you more hopeful and more likely to take action.”

The researchers found a significant increase in pro-environmental beliefs two years after the signs were installed. They also found that boosting Black representation on the screens made a significant impact on the responses from Black respondents, with their environmental norms shifting more than those of white interviewees.

Student Researchers

Emma Grant-Bier ’26

Thomas Holmes ’26

Bryn Kearney ’25

Derya Taspinar ’25

Chau Anh Tran ’28

Based on their results, Petersen and Frantz have launched a similar study on climate change action. The team is also installing digital signs in Cleveland to test the impact of Community Voices, using vignettes of community climate action and more climate-oriented content.

Petersen praises 91直播’s collaborative environment for his decades-long research partnership with Frantz. “There’s a creativity here that happens in no other environment,” he says. “And there are so many opportunities for students with broad interests to engage with faculty who are working in unique ways across disciplines.”

Frantz says she is excited about what the future might hold with the power of environmental messaging. “We have this impression that nobody cares about climate change,” she says. “But that’s not true. A double major in psychology and comparative American studies, she will teach English at a university and immerse herself in campus life.

“I hope to connect with the university community and participate in clubs, such as sporting, dance, or nature,” Cameron says, “and practice language exchange with Colombians college students.”

Outside of the classroom, she plans to work with an NGO supporting some of the over three million Venezuelan refugees in Colombia. Cameron’s interest in this work grew out of a summer 2023 internship in Pamplona, Colombia, at a grassroots organization called On the Ground International. “I also conducted public health research through 91直播's David Love Memorial Fellowship,” she adds. “This experience sparked my interest in returning to Colombia to continue this work and especially to understand the realities of this crisis in a different region.”

How did 91直播 influence you to pursue the Fulbright?
Many classes at 91直播 had significant impacts on my inquiry and interest into this region and histories of refugee and immigration studies. Some of the most formative and salient classes included Borderlands with Pablo Mitchell; Constructing Immigrant Communities with Rich Baldoz; Politics of Oil with Amanda Zadorian; and Indigenous Activism, Environmental Justice, and the State with my wonderful advisor, Jess Arnett.

Additionally, I participated in the SIT/IHP Health and Community in Vietnam, South Africa, and Argentina program. While this was originally not affiliated with 91直播, the study away office helped me make it transfer here, which was wonderful because it was so meaningful for my studies.

The support I received from the office of fellowships was really helpful as I prepared my Fulbright application. Danielle Abdon was especially instrumental with reading my essays, answering last minute-panicked questions, and helping me prepare for my interview. 91直播 has such a robust system of support to help as many students as possible succeed with post-college fellowships and programs, it’s no wonder that each year we rank as a top producer of Fulbright scholars.

How does pursuing the Fulbright align with your post-college life and career goals?

I am really interested in pursuing public health, psychology, or policy advocacy, with a focus on the Latin American refugee and immigrant population in the U.S. Some time down the line from this Fulbright, I hope to pursue a master’s degree in refugee and migration studies, public health, or social work. Completing a Fulbright will help me expand my cultural literacy of this region, my Spanish comprehension, and my ability to use cross-cultural collaboration as a means to address global issues of migration and resource access. And it’s also offering me a wonderful opportunity to consider if teaching, NGO work, public health, and Hispanic studies are areas I will pursue for my career. Since I traveled around a lot on my study abroad—I spent each month in a different country—I am also really excited to live in one city for a whole year and really root myself in a community.

What’s the best advice you’ve received from your 91直播 faculty mentor?
I was stressing out about my majors and minors and trying to figure out the puzzle of getting every single requirement done so I could fulfill all of the components of the things I wanted to do. The chair of the comparative American studies program, Gina Perez, told me that having just one major was enough. I didn't have to bog myself down collecting titles of degrees; they were not representative of my learning and I would be better off following the trail of my interests and allowing myself to take classes that truly sparked my interests. She reminded me to remember that the joy of reminiscing about college will be the wonderful things I learned and the passions I explored—not the technicalities of my degree.

Activities Cameron was involved in at 91直播: 91直播 Student Cooperative Association (OSCA), Harkness member; Women and Trans Rugby Team, Treasurer; Outings Club, trip leader; Barefoot Dialogue, Facilitator; EXCO teacher, NVC CO (non-violent communication).

If you’re a rising or graduating senior interested in Fulbright, connect with Fellowships & Awards to learn more about pursuing research or an arts project, obtaining a graduate degree, or teaching English in a foreign country of your choice following graduation.

The psychology and comparative American studies major will be teaching English at a university and working with an NGO supporting Venezuelan refugees.

News Story

Wed, 05/22/2024 - 12:00

Communications Staff

Awards and Honors

Fulbright

Psychology

Comparative American Studies

Psychology

Comparative American Studies

Cameron Montague working with her faculty advisor, Jess Arnett.

Yes

Yes (Individual Images)

Off

false

Tanya Rosen-Jones '97

<img loading="lazy" src="/sites/default/files/styles/width_760/public/content/news/image/cameronmontague-005.jpg?itok=laMPAdkU" width="760" height="507" alt="A student with her professor in their professor's office. But like the unpredictable curveballs he threw from the mound, life directed him toward a path of public service, and the baseball enthusiast evolved into a beacon for community and national advocacy that took shape through his major in law and society.

Kohler hails from the outskirts of Philadelphia, where he was intimately exposed to the challenges many families face in raising children and making ends meet. Witnessing these difficulties up close fueled his desire to make a tangible impact and ultimately led him to pursue a career informed by trauma-informed care, a medical framework through which providers aim to connect with people who face negative consequences from past experiences.

Jesse Kohler pitched for three seasons on the 91直播 baseball team.

91直播’s culture of advocacy left an indelible mark on Kohler. “I came with cleats and gloves, thinking the field was where I’d shine,” he says. But the fertile sociopolitical climate on campus began to shape his aspirations. “Transitioning from my introductory psychology classes to the depth of the law and society major broadened my horizons.”

We caught up with Kohler to learn how his work at 91直播 led to a Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit that employs scientific research to improve overall well-being among challenged populations.

What are you doing these days?

I’m the founder and president of The Change Campaign, a nonprofit birthed from my senior project at 91直播. The campaign also works with government agencies and other organizations that have similar goals. Because of my work with The Change Campaign, I was selected as the executive director for the Campaign for Trauma-Informed Policy and Practice (CTIPP), a nationwide organization trying to create a resilient society by addressing the injustices that cause poor health and supporting the integration of resilience-building and healing activities.

Apart from this, I’m on the board of the National Prevention Science Coalition to Improve Lives (NPSC) and an advisor for the Compassionate School Leadership Academy (CSLA) at Yale. My main aim is fostering a sustainable planet and a hopeful future. Early in my career, I’ve emphasized leadership that’s community-led, trauma-informed, and resilience-focused.

What led you down this career path?

My initial dream was to be a professional baseball player. My academic leanings were toward neuroscience, psychology, and political science. However, my grades in Psych 100 challenged this path. Consequently, the law and society program at 91直播 caught my attention, offering a blend of multiple disciplines and the chance of law school. My interest in the school-to-prison pipeline [the higher likelihood of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds being incarcerated] began here, and it led me to my work at an educational nonprofit. This, in turn, resulted in a master’s in educational leadership from Arcadia University and an influential internship with the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General.

What facets of your work are you most proud of?

Kohler speaking at the Council for Tribal Employment Rights conference.

Supporting the development of CTIPP’s programs that have enabled some of those policy wins are some of the most rewarding experiences of my career thus far. Those campus connections inspired her to become involved on a national level—and this year led her to an Obie mentor in a somewhat unlikely place.

In January, Griffith completed a Winter Term internship at All Families Healthcare, a reproductive health clinic in rural Whitefish, Montana, where she worked under the guidance of nurse practitioner Helen Weems ’91, the clinic’s director. A former environmental studies major at 91直播, Weems was celebrated locally for rebuilding All Families after its original location was intentionally destroyed, then for successfully suing the state of Montana to expand abortion access. Inspired by Weems' monumental victory—and with key support from biology professor Maureen Peters—Griffith secured an internship at Weems’ clinic during Winter Term of her junior year.

Now a rising senior with majors in psychology and gender, sexuality, and feminist studies, Griffith gained unique insight into the clinic’s day-to-day operations and the lives of the people who depend on them. She is a psychology research assistant under professor Sara Verosky, with whom she has worked on experiments that focus on how people make judgments about one another based on facial perceptions.

The compassion she witnessed at All Families turned her passion into a drive to pursue a career that supports reproductive rights, and she credits 91直播 with fostering that devotion. She considers campus a safe space for students to express their beliefs, grapple with societal issues together, and expand their understanding and expertise. She trained to be an abortion doula with the 91直播 Doula Collective, where she learned how to care for people experiencing abortions. During spring semester, she presented at 91直播’s Reproductive Justice Symposium, joining fellow students in detailing practical implications related to abortion access in Ohio since the overturning of Roe v. Her presentation included resources currently available as well as those no longer available as a result of the Supreme Court decision.

Griffith believes that academic institutions are the perfect place to cultivate sexual and reproductive health advocacy. “The best way for 91直播 to be supportive of their students who are passionate about these topics would be to support, advocate for, and fund the organizations that are already in place,” she says, emphasizing the importance of the Sexual Information Center (SIC) and Survivors of Sexual Harm and Allies (SOSHA), among other groups.

To Griffith, the simple things—such as donations of time, money, and activism—go a long way in alleviating the challenges faced by citizens in regions that are restricted in their access to reproductive health care. “Vote in local and national elections, call your representatives, talk to your older relatives who may have different opinions, and share your story,” she says.

Perhaps more than anything, Griffith’s journey underscores the transformative power of a dedicated community.

“Working at the clinic reinforced my passion for reproductive justice and health care equality,” she says, “and reminded me how important this work is.”

Tue, 20 Jun 2023 14:55:35 +0000 tapplega 458676 at Survivor Mentality /news/survivor-mentality Survivor Mentality eburnett Tue, 05/16/2023 - 14:37

Emma Hart '23 was raised by two mothers in rural Decatur, Indiana. Growing up, the other kids often reminded her “You can’t have two moms.”

Today, Hart credits the experience with inspiring her to pursue the cause of sexual justice. She formed 91直播’s Survivors of Sexual Harm and Allies (SOSHA), a student-led organization that advocates for and empowers those who have experienced sexual violence.

Beginning in August, Hart will approach the issue in a new way: by devoting a year to observing programs in South Africa, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand that create dialogues among boys in middle and high schools, raising awareness and curbing the incidence of sexual violence.

The opportunity was made possible by a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, a highly competitive honor that enables recipients to pursue original, independent projects outside the U.S. and receive a $40,000 stipend and a year’s worth of college loan payments.

Named for the longtime head of IBM, Watson Fellowships have been awarded to 42 graduating college seniors from 20 states and four countries this year. Two of those fellows are from 91直播: Hart and fellow senior Alli Roshni, who will work with patients, practitioners, researchers, and grassroots organizations to prevent and treat pediatric HIV and AIDS in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Indonesia.

Hart calls her project “Violence Intervention: Inviting Boys to the Conversation.” In a post on the Watson website, she writes: “Spaces that invite open conversation and encourage vulnerability in boys are key to reducing gender-based violence. Learning from organizations that empower boys to participate in these spaces, I will learn how different modes of violence-prevention stop harm before it happens.”

For Hart, the year ahead represents a global extension of the work she began at 91直播. She will graduate with majors in dance and psychology, with a minor in law and society and an integrative concentration in education. For her senior project in dance, she directed and performed in a documentary film called Healing Bodies, which quotes survivors of sexual abuse. For an honors project in psychology, she presented research on “vicarious dissonance,” a sensation that happens when seeing close friends or family act contrary to their stated beliefs.

This semester, she took part in a seminar on the psychology of social conflict, taught by Professor of Psychology and Environmental Studies Cindy Frantz. Hart says it helped her advocate more persuasively for justice for survivors of sexual violence. It’s a skill that has served her well in her work with SOSHA.

Numbering more than 100 student members, SOSHA supports survivors of sexual violence through confidential listening sessions facilitated by the Nord Center, a local mental-health and crisis intervention agency; through social events that support stress relief and healing; and through open forums.

Hart learned to mentor student writers through Writing Center director Laurie McMillin (left). Hart also performed on silks and trapeze with the student-run OCircus and pole-vaulted for the 91直播 track team. In a world where 15,000 children die each day, there is an urgent need to understand the most effective and compassionate practices to support the bereaved.”

Gleydura’s understanding of the deficits of care for children in the U.S. was heightened shortly after earning a Stamps Scholarship at 91直播—an award that provides recipients with a $5,000 enrichment fund to benefit academic, professional, and personal development. In the fall of 2020, as many people worked and studied from home during the early phase of the pandemic, she used her scholarship to take online classes, which included an eye-opening course on death, dying, and grief in pediatric care.

The need to promote change continued to propel her throughout her time at 91直播. The project was later compiled into a presentation titled “Economic Desperation, Moral Apocalypse, and Everyday Paranoia: the Filles Insoumises of Paris.”

“The most significant things that helped shape me as a person and a scholar were the connections I made with amazing professors, peers, and community members,” she says. “I could not have gotten to where I am today without the support, guidance, and mentorship that I received along the way.”

Gleydura is currently completing an End-of-Life Doula Certificate. She hopes to find ways to improve pediatric care and interventions from an intellectual, cultural, and professional standpoint during her Watson year.

News Story

Mon, 05/02/2022 - 12:00

Yvonne Gay

Molly Gleydura’s desire to understand the grieving process and gain strategies that will assist families with the loss of a child will take her to New Zealand, Senegal, El Salvador, and Ireland this summer on a Watson Fellowship.

Awards and Honors

Engaged Liberal Arts

Psychology

Environmental Studies and Sciences

French

Sociology

Biology

Education Studies

Nancy Darling

John Petersen ’88

Cynthia (Cindy) Frantz

Greggor Mattson

Psychology

Environmental Studies and Science

French and Italian

Sociology

Biology

Molly Gleydura '22

Off

false

Tanya Rosen-Jones '97

Mon, 02 May 2022 19:22:07 +0000 ygay 409906 at Second-Year Emma Hart Coauthors COVID-19 Vaccine Issue Brief /news/second-year-emma-hart-coauthors-covid-19-vaccine-issue-brief Second-Year Emma Hart Coauthors COVID-19 Vaccine Issue Brief anagy Mon, 05/03/2021 - 14:09

As part of 91直播’s three-semester plan for 2020-2021, second-year students participated in a monthlong winter term SOAR retreat and had the opportunity to pursue micro-internships or research projects during their spring semester, much like the juniors during the Junior Practicum program during the fall semester. The SOAR retreat included major planning workshops, panels, and guest speakers, while the Career Development Center matched students with parents, faculty, and alumni who sponsored micro-internships and research opportunities.

Hart, a psychology and dance double major with a math minor, says that the internship’s prestige surprised her, but she was eager to take on whatever work was required.

“People I knew were talking about things on the news, and it felt surprising to get to be a part of that,” says Hart, who was encouraged to “drive her experience” by her sponsor Steven Bloom ‘84, assistant vice president, government relations for the American Council on Education.

“They made it very clear that I could drive the experience and do as much or little as I wanted, and when I heard my sponsor [Steven Bloom] say that, I thought, ‘Well, I would rather do more,’” she adds.

Though she is not a politics major, Hart is interested in law school after 91直播 and considers the American Council in Education (ACE), a non-partisan lobbying agency, as a similar work environment to what her post-91直播 life could look like.

“I was interested in lobbying and to an extent I still am,” Hart says. “Even being at 91直播, there’s such an atmosphere of social justice that goes hand in hand with what people call politics.”

While she thought the internship was initially somewhat intimidating, Hart says that the welcoming atmosphere and friendly people made the experience worthwhile. Being able to tackle politics head-on boosted her confidence, and she remarks that the people there even thought she was a fourth-year due to the polished work she turned in.

“I was definitely intimidated because [McDonough] was also the general counsel at Princeton for at least a decade,” Hart explains. “But after meeting with him one-on-one, he was so friendly and welcoming. None of the people on the public affairs team ever acted like I was unprepared or like I was lacking in any type of knowledge. They really wanted it to be a learning experience for me.”

When explaining the issue brief, Hart describes it as “food for thought,” rather than direct legal advice to colleges and universities. Because some schools do not have the resources to have an attorney in-residence, they reach out to organizations such as ACE for their advice.

Through research, drafting, and revision, Hart and McDonough transformed the issue brief from just a vague idea into a distributable document that has now been promoted by organizations such as Politico and Inside Higher Ed.

Hart says that one of the greatest challenges was attempting to write about a subject that was still so new, uncertain, and constantly changing. In their research, they focused on CDC guidelines and employment law, which were changing regularly.

“I feel like in researching for a paper that you're going to write for a class—all the information is already out there and maybe even the exact idea that you're trying to communicate— but with [the brief], we [were] putting pieces of a puzzle together and trying to put them in one place to help advise people and institutions,” Hart states. “Peter [kept] sending me new things he was seeing… and it was important within the brief to cite that this was written in March of 2021, [because] it might not be relevant within two or three months.”

Another example of rapidly changing information was when Rutgers University announced on March 25 that it was making the vaccine mandatory for all students. Hart and McDonough could adjust their language and focus more on whether a college “should” require it.

Furthermore, Hart made sure to include notes that were important to her, such as adding a bullet point that some schools might choose not to require vaccines because “Marginalized groups and individuals may be distrustful of the vaccine due to a history of medical racism and discrimination.”

“[Under-represented] communities were an important piece that I wanted to add,” Hart says. “There has been a huge history of medical racism and I felt that was important to include in the brief because that to me is fair, more so than maybe people who don't believe that COVID-19 is real.”

As the issue brief begins to gain traction, Hart hopes that it will provide some clarity for schools, particularly for presidents of institutions.

“A large majority of ACE members are the presidents of of institutions, and I would like [the brief] to provide them some clarity, just in general as far as COVID-19 goes, because I think that this past year and a month now has been incredibly chaotic and has left a lot of questions unanswered for people and there's been a lot of confusion and fear,” Hart explains.

Outside of class, Hart is most passionate about co-leading Survivors of Sexual Harm and Allies (SOSHA), a nonchartered club at 91直播. For April, or Consent Month/Sexual Harm Awareness Month, SOSHA is partnering with the Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, Preventing and Responding to Sexual Misconduct (PRSM), and the Peer Support Center to offer a wide range of programming to raise awareness about sexual violence.

In particular, her interest in Title IX and justice for victims of sexual violence was also a significant factor in the internship she was matched with.

“It’s so ingrained in my identity and informs all of my interests and what led me to ACE,” she says.

Besides law school, Hart is newly motivated to potentially work in D.C. in a lobbying group or even run for office someday.

“That would be a space where hopefully those changes could get made,” she says.

Hart worked with general counsel Peter McDonough to co-author an issue brief on considerations regarding whether to require COVID-19 vaccination for students in fall 2021.

News Story

Mon, 05/03/2021 - 12:00

Jaimie Yue '22

This spring, second-year Emma Hart coauthored an issue brief about the COVID-19 vaccine requirement considerations in higher education institutions with General Counsel Peter McDonough through her Sophomore Opportunities and Academic Resources (SOAR) internship at the American Council on Education’s Department of Government and Public Affairs in Washington, D.C.

Career Exploration & Development

Psychology

Mathematics

Dance

Psychology

Mathematics

Dance

Second-year Emma Hart completed a micro-internship with the American Council on Education’s Department of Government and Public Affairs.

Off

false

Courtesy of Emma Hart

Mon, 03 May 2021 18:09:05 +0000 anagy 326341 at
