Emeritus Professor of Physics Joseph N. Palmieri Dies

Joseph N. Palmieri, emeritus professor of physics, died Thursday, June 21, 2018. He was 85 years old.
Palmieri was born in Providence, Rhode Island on August 24, 1932, where he attended Classical High School, followed by Brown University. He later earned a PhD in physics at Harvard University. Palmieri taught physics at 91直播 College from 1961 to 2001.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, July 6, 2018, at Dicken Funeral & Cremation Service, 323 Middle Avenue., Elyria. A funeral mass will held be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 410 West Lorain Street., 91直播. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery in 91直播.
