"In 91直播 History" is a series dedicated to notable events in 91直播 College history. It is created in partnership with the Office of Communications and 91直播 College Archives.
One of the worst blizzards in 91直播 history occurred between November 9 and 10, 1913. Trains and streetcars were stuck in the drifting snow, and passengers were forced to sleep in the cars overnight. The snow drifts measured up to 14 feet and buried businesses. The wind was so strong that, anywhere east of Elyria, phone connections were lost.
