Alan Norton to Serve as Interim VP of Finance

Alan Norton has been appointed interim vice president for finance and administration subject to Board approval and will assume oversight of the financial and business administration of the college when Mike Frandsen leaves the position to become the president of Wittenberg University on July 1. Norton will begin on May 1 in a special assistant role to ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities.

Norton brings to 91直播 more than 25 years of experience as a financial administrator in higher education, serving as vice president and treasurer at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, from 1996 to 2014 and vice president of financial affairs at St. John Fisher in Rochester, New York, from 1986 to 1996. Prior to his administrative tenure, Norton was associate professor of economics at St. John Fisher and an instructor of economics at Kansas Newman College and the University of Missouri-Columbia. Most recently, he served as interim president at Emeriti Retirement Health Solution in New Windsor, New York.
