With a busy class schedule, study away paperwork, and some new jobs, I've managed to keep myself very busy this semester! As I get ready for my study away program next semester, I try to recap my study away application experiences.

A blog post in which my linguistic anthropology class served as first class therapy.

Whenever I tell someone outside of 91Ö±²¥ that I'm a Comparative American Studies major, they have no idea what it is. I like to describe it as the study of how one's experience in the United States differs based on the many facets of their identity.

In the very beginning of the semester, I barely raised my elbow off the table when I had something to say, and when I realized my professors weren't calling on me probably because they couldn't see my hand, I adopted a new philosophy for class participation.

In which we overshare about all the languages we have attempted to master...English still being one of them.

I may have declared my CS Major, but I remain committed to the broad liberal arts education that 91Ö±²¥ is all about.

Somehow, it's already almost time to register my courses for next semester. Third time's the charm, right?

I would say my class choices for this semester are indicative of my decision to go the liberal arts route rather than the undergraduate film school route.

I can't believe I've never made a post about my classes, which make up a huge part of my 91Ö±²¥ experience!

In a way, I'm glad I didn't get what I wanted right away last semester. I ended up getting to see more of 91Ö±²¥ outside of my "expected" path.

It's been awhile since I walked you through a day or a week in the life. So let's do that! This is a particularly bustling one as the first weeks back are full of things to do, people to see, and the dreaded Add/Drop.

After a very busy semester, I learn that maybe I can't do it all.
