91Ö±²¥

I’ve been having fun reading about everyone else’s paths to 91Ö±²¥, so I thought I’d throw my own story into the mix.

It is fitting that even in my last semester here at 91Ö±²¥, I am fortunate enough to be taking advantage of one more opportunity that this school has offered--one that is wholly unique to graduates of 91Ö±²¥. For two years, I will be teaching English in the northern Chinese province of Taigu through the 91Ö±²¥ Shansi two-year fellowship program.

Because there's no better way to procrastinate writing your college application essays than reading tips about writing your college application essays.

It looked delicious... but we were told we couldn't eat yet. It is an extremely sadistic thing to show us food and tell us we can't partake. I was ready to dive in. But there was a reason.

I've gained a certain amount of respect - if not understanding - for mass spectrometry and I've begun to understand how the microwave in the kitchen works, at least for making Ramen noodles.

Off-campus status is both a blessing and a curse...but mostly a blessing.

I think a die a little bit every time someone uses the word Obie to describe a person who goes to 91Ö±²¥ (as in: We Obies love to hate things). I think The Grape--one of 91Ö±²¥ College's many publications--described the word as (and I'm paraphrasing here) "used only by The Review and the Admissions Department."

We also had an accidental four-hour stay in Bratislava, but hey, spontaneity and learning to roll with it is part of the adventure of traveling.

I neglected to utilize the lock on the bathroom once, and it became uncomfortably non-private in the middle of my activities within.

A couple days ago, I decided that I would take advantage of all of the free time I have on my hands and set out to Tigre, a city located in the delta of the Paraná River, a half-hour train ride from downtown Buenos Aires. I got lost exploring the island, but it was worth it.
