Biography

Aziza is providing clinical and administrative expertise to support the efforts of the leadership team and Student Health and Well-Being. She brings more than 10 years of diverse experience in clinical services across a wide spectrum of care types, doing so through a holistic lens intertwined with the foundational systems and processes of healthcare management.

She has been a nurse practitioner for five years, combining her administrative and clinical experience. She has an MSN as a family nurse practitioner from Ohio University. She also completed studies at Rice University in healthcare management, and continues to obtain further education from the Institute of Functional Medicine. Prior to that, she was a registered nurse in the emergency room and perioperative surgical settings since 2017, preceded by her experience as an EMT.

Aziza is a seasoned world traveler, and in her spare time, enjoys yoga, spiritual practice, cooking, dance, and contrast therapy (cold plunge/sauna).
